- This job is a salary position based on approximately 30 hours of direct therapy, with approximately 10 hours to assist the Clinical Director with program development, RBT training using BST, session fidelity checks, and parent training assistance.
- Weekly Meetings with Clinical Director and Supervisor(s) to discuss program updates and trainings needed as well as review from previous weeks fidelity and BST trainings with staff
- Provide weekly Fidelity and/or BST training with therapists over assigned clients
- Assist with planning and assist with running team meetings
- Send out communication via CR email over client updates and changes
- Conduct assessments as scheduled
- Complete program development per assigned clients. Develop and implement skill acquisition and social skills programs, create program materials, and input client specific data for a caseload of 1-3 clients under the supervision of a Director.
- Assist with report writing as needed
- Provide direct therapy for assigned clients – minimum of 30 hours per week
- Floor support as assigned
- Assist with behaviors and supporting therapists as needed
- Attend scheduled meetings
- Provide hands on training to new hires as assigned and note progress
- Assist Supervisor(s) in planning, organizing, and running parent training
- Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and BCBA code of ethics.
- Collaborate with your Supervisor(s) on the client’s educational environment.
- Be flexible in a constantly changing environment.
- Will contribute to the team outside of the 1-3 clients you are working with.
- Perform other duties as assigned to help with the daily function of the clinic or client programming.
Requirements
Education/Certification Requirements:
- Master’s degree in field of psychology or ABA. A master’s degree and all BACB required coursework must be completed and preparing to sit for exam. OR
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a related field or 3+ years of experience working with individuals with special needs. You must have completed all BACB course work requirements and preparing to sit for BCaBA exam
- RBT certified
- CPR certification
- State or local license eligible where applicable
Required Experience/Position Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-year employment with FOCUS or 3+ years’ experience in the field.
- No attendance or performance corrective action items on your record as an employee with FOCUS within the last 90 days
- Must complete Senior Lead program training before transition to this position.
- Person must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal and time management skills, proficiency with writing and communication, good problem-solving skills, and must work well within collaborative teams
- SAMA trained
- Reliable transportation to the clinic and clients’ place of service
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass a state and federal background check
