WE’RE ESSENTIAL. WE’RE OPEN.
As we continue to closely monitor the guidelines coming from the local and state level, as well as the recommendations published by the CDC, FOCUS will be continuing with many of the protocols that have been in place for the past couple months, with some minor changes.
Sickness policy
If a staff member or client shows signs that are reflective to COVID, the flu, or stomach bug, please stay home for a 48 hour period to make sure symptoms do not worsen.
If you have any symptoms such as temperature over 99.4, diarrhea, vomiting, excessive coughing, or runny nose, please stay home for the day and wait for symptoms to clear. We ask that staff and clients be symptom free for 48 hours before returning. In special cases where these symptoms may arise without sickness (e.g., allergies, acid reflux, medicine changes, etc), please visit with your supervisor as you might have an exception to the 48 hour period.
THings we can do together
With the sickness policy in mind, we hope to work together with our staff and families to keep everyone safe and healthy during this season.
MASKS
All staff will wear masks upon entry into the building, when getting children and during transition times. When in classrooms and other designated limited access areas, facemasks are not required.
SANITIZATION
Materials may be used by multiple clients but will be sanitized between each use
DROP-OFF/PICK-UP
We will continue to pick up and drop off clients at cars and conduct temperature & symptom checks for clients & staff
