What we do
We support our clients and their families through two categories of services, center/home-based services and community support.
Center & home-based Services
Center and home-based services provide direct ABA therapy for the client in a FOCUS center. In this setting, each client has the benefit of intense direct therapy in social settings to help with the mastery of skills and continue the use of these skills into everyday life. Our center and home based services include a variety of services ranging from early life skills to classroom development and our caregiver support programs.
Our Early Intervention Program is designed to help children meet their milestones including social skills. We also have a School Readiness program to help children transition to a school or daycare setting.
We want to help your child reach their full potential by helping them to be confident in independent daily living. We offer ongoing parent and caregiver training to support the child’s progress.
Our Social Skills group meets after school during the week. Children focus on using appropriate social skills and developing friendships. They work on executive functioning development such as self organizing, prioritizing tasks, and asking for help when appropriate.
Community Support allows us to extend our influence into the community and the natural environments the child experiences on a regular basis. Our Community Support includes programs of ABA therapy applied at school or on the job training.
Caregivers in the community can participate in topical classes with ongoing (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) BCBA led training courses to better equip the caregiver with techniques for positive behavior change at home and in the community.
Focus on the Job is for ages 14 and older. We provide therapy in a Focus center or job site. We work with many local businesses. The overall goal is to build knowledge and independence of appropriate vocational responsibilities and job-related social skills in order to gain and maintain employment.
We provide the school with teacher and staff training, direct therapy, and consultation services that can range from observations, functional behavioral assessments (FBA), staff training, and individualized behavioral plans.
